Don't worry, I'm not trying to beg for your pity - but hey, while we're at it, if you like what I'm doing feel free to hire me! I come with great references - I just wanted to let you know what has been going on in my personal life that would have some effect on my blogging life. As much as I love to try out new restaurants or plan quick weekend trips to post about, those things cost money. And if you have ever enjoyed the life of the "fun-employed" you know that budgeting is an absolute must.
What this really means is that I will be bringing some new posts into the fold soon. I've got a few posts scheduled for you in the coming weeks about fun things to do for free in the city. I've been enjoying getting acclimated to a new city and taking advantage of the free fun this place has to offer. Just because I am spending much of my time looking for work and budgeting tightly, that doesn't mean that I need to post less. So, for now I hope you enjoy a picture into my glamorous pampered home life, and check back Thursday for a post on some free fun here in Atlanta!
Love "seeing" you. You look marvelous, Doll! Miss you madly and looking forward to your post later.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Your situation is oddly familiar to mine. I recently moved from Toronto, Ontario to Montreal Quebec with only a short term contract lined up, which unfortunately has come to and end this past December. As I am not bilingual in a french city, my job search has been quite stressful as well. Day after day, stuck at home, it can be overwhelming- thinking about what I should be doing- working. I try to remind myself as much as possible that everything is going to work out, because it will! We should pat ourselves on the back for not taking the easy path in life... it is going to pay off for us in the end!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to share some love from one blogger to another!
